Welcome to Feastez! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. About Feastez
Feastez connects users ("Customers") with restaurants and catering providers ("Vendors") for food ordering and delivery or pickup services. Feastez does not prepare or deliver the food but facilitates transactions between Customers and Vendors.
2. Use of Services
a. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
b. Account Creation
To place orders, you must create an account by providing accurate and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and any activity conducted under your account.
c. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
- Violate applicable laws or regulations.
- Interfere with the functionality or security of the Services.
- Use automated systems (e.g., bots) to access or interact with the Services.
3. Orders
a. Placing Orders
By placing an order, you enter into a direct agreement with the Vendor. Feastez acts as an intermediary to facilitate the transaction.
b. Modifications and Cancellations
Orders cannot be modified or cancelled after they have been accepted by the Vendor, except at the Vendor's discretion.
c. Pricing and Availability
Prices and availability of menu items are set by Vendors and are subject to change without notice. Additional fees, including delivery charges, may apply and will be disclosed at checkout.
d. Allergens and Dietary Preferences
It is your responsibility to review menu information and notify the Vendor of any dietary restrictions or allergies. Feastez is not liable for issues arising from such requests.
4. Payments
a. Payment Processing
Feastez uses Stripe to process payments securely. By completing a transaction, you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (View Stripe Privacy Policy). Feastez does not store payment information.
b. Authorization
By placing an order, you authorize Feastez to charge the payment method provided for the total amount, including applicable taxes and fees.
5. Vendor and Customer Responsibilities
a. Vendors
Vendors are responsible for preparing and fulfilling orders by the information provided.
b. Customers
You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your order details, including delivery address and contact information.
6. Refunds and Disputes
Refunds are issued at the discretion of the Vendor. If you encounter issues with your order, contact our support team at [Insert Contact Email]. Feastez will assist in resolving disputes between Customers and Vendors but does not guarantee refunds.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Feastez platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Feastez or its licensors. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.
8. Data Privacy
Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using Feastez, you consent to the terms of our Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Feastez is not responsible for the quality, safety, or preparation of food provided by Vendors.
- Feastez is not liable for delays, errors, or disruptions in service.
Our total liability for claims arising out of or related to your use of the Services is limited to the amount paid for the order in question.
10. Changes to the Services
Feastez may modify or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time without notice.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed by the laws of Calgary, Alberta, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Calgary, Alberta.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate your account and access to the Services for violations of these Terms or other misconduct.
